Open to all artists.
Awards
First Prize 1 1,000,000yen
Second Prize 1~2 500,000yen
Third Prize several 300,000yen
Fourth Prize several 200,000yen
Takao Hiwasaki Prize 1 300,000yen
TOSA WASHI PRIZE
Number Several
Award 300,000yen and "Tosa washi" Paper (worth about 100,000yen)
*Tosa Washi is Japanese paper made in Kochi Prefecture.
*Those works not using Tosa Washi are excluded from this newly created prize.
Works
Prints on paper only (no other surfaces allowed).
Size of the paper shall not exceed 100cm x 100cm(40in. x 40in.).
All works should be created after January 2003,be original and not have been shown at any exhibitions elsewhere .
Each artist is allowed to submit a maximum of three works.
Overseas entries should be accompanied by 18 international postal coupons to cover the cost of the return of the work
Entrants wishing to donate their work need not send postage
Dates
Submission of entries from October 1 and no later than October 31,2004
Exhibition from March 12 to April 17, 2005
Ino-cho Paper Museum (Ino-cho Kochi-ken,JAPAN)
Fees
Entry fee is not required
Artists residing in Japan will pay 5,000 yen regardless of the number of works they submit.
